My Journey So Far With Crohns

(Sydney, Australia)
This is my first time writing about my crohns experience.
Well, first of all my name is Wally and im 20yrs old.
It started out like this
I was fine and healthy all my life till this one night I was on my bed trying to sleep
then all of a sudden I felt this pain in my stomach which I knew I have never felt pain like this before.
I decided to ignore the pain once it went away till it came back 2 days later.
So then I took myself to the doctors and I was told I have reflux.
So I jumped on reflux medication one after the other with no improvement.
I knew something was not right so I took myself to hospital and I ended up staying there for 5 days.
Anyway, cut the story short I was diagnosed with Crohns disease at the age of 18 (2008).
I have been on medication since then and that has not improved me at all.
I was 80kg before crohns.
After crohns I dropped to 55kg.
So these past 2 yrs I have been living in constant pain.
I dropped out of my studies.
There was no hope for me.
I quit playing football since running affects my stomach.
So now I am watching all my school friends live and enjoy there lives and going places while I'm usually at home and can't do much.
My life doesn't get any better.
I need to get a eye transplant because I'm blind in one eye.
And since there is no cure for Crohns
whats the point of my life?
Is it to sit there and see everyone excel and me just sit here.
The only way it can be cured though is dying.
So I guess I'm just going to play the waiting game.
