Reply to Is Crohns Fatal?
by: Inna

Hello Agnes,

Thank you very much for your question. I get this question a lot from my readers. Don't worry, many patients are concerned about this.

When Crohn's disease is under control, when Crohns symptoms are under conrol Crohns disease is not fatal.

In extremely rare cases, when patients don't respond to Crohn's medications or when patients can not tolerate Crohns treatments (due to allergic reactions or other reasons), it gets more complicated and could potentially become deadly.

If any patients die now days, they die from Crohns complications, not from Crohns disease. But, again that would be such a rare thing. Probabaly, the chances of Crohn's patients dying from this disease are the same as of most people dying of anything else.

No reason to worry. Just concentrate on healthy, healing diet, drink a lot of clean, filtered water, do relaxation exercises and consider natural treatments as an addition to your current Crohns regiment.

If you would need more help, contact me in the CONTACT US page and we'll schedule an appointemnt to improve your health.

All the best to you.

My Father has Crohns
by: Amber Jets

My father has Crohn's and it is not fatal unless you have the wrong medicine. Always make sure your medicine is working, because once my dad's medicine didn't work so he had to spend a month in hospital. This is partly due to the fact that we could not afford good enough medicine, but now we can!
