Gluten Free Flourless Pie Crust

Coconut oil 2/3 of a cup

Almond Meal 1 and 1/3 of a cup

A Pinch Of Salt

Cold water 2 and 1/2 ounce or 75ml

To Mix:

Mix all the ingredients very well, adding by small amounts.

Roll out gently.

Place it on the pie dish. Fill in with your favorite fiiling.

Bake at 425F degrees for about 15 to 20 minutes or until it's golden brown.

Just a little suggestion from me on this recipe:

It's important that the oil used here is indeed great quality coconut oil.

Also, first mix the coconut oil, salt with almond meal by very small amounts until it forms into a uniform mixture. Only then, you can add freezing cold water by spoons. This mixture will become uniform and crumbly. If you really need to, you can add another 1/4 cup of almond meal, very little.

It does take some skill to master it. I tried a few times to get it right.
