Chicken Soup With Herbs

Comfort soup that is great in the winter and my family loves it.

2 carrots, diced
1 tbs dried parsley
6 cloves of garlic, minced to 2 tbs
6 cups of organic chicken broth or organic vegetable broth
1/4 cup organic soup noodles
1/2 cup raw kasha (buckwheat groats)
2 cups of diced boneless chicken, cooked or raw
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp dried tarragon
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp tarragon

1.Place all ingredients in large kettle. Bring soup to a boil. Cover and simmer 20 minutes, or until kasha is cooked and noodles are soft.

2.Season to taste with salt. Serve immediately.

Serves 6. 15 grams of protein per serving
