This GF bread recipe was sent to me from Miroslawa from Sonoma, CA. Thank you for sharing!
Gluten Free White Bread With Rice Flour
2&1/4 cup almond milk (may substitute with rice milk or coconut milk or just plain milk)
1&3/4 cup Gluten Free White Rice flour
1&1/4 cup Gluten Free Brown Rice Flour
1 cup Potato Starch
2 tsp. xanthan gum
1 packet (2-1/4 tsp.) active dry yeast
1/2 tsp. Celtic salt or kosher Salt
1 Tbsp. Nutiva extra virgin coconut oil or butter
2 Tbsp. organic maple syrup, honey or organic sugar
1.First, grease and flour with gluten free flour a bread loaf pan. You can use 9 by 5 bread pan.
2.Then, warm the oil (or butter), sugar and almond milk to 120F. Until the oil (or butter) melts. Add the salt.
3. Then, mix the flours, xanthan gum and yeast in a large bowl. Try to drip this mixture into the bowl, stirring to combine little by little as you pour.
4.Next, spoon the dough (this dough may be very sticky) into the prepared bread loaf pan and let rise for about 50 minutes.
5. Then, for the next 10 minutes, preheat the oven to 400F.
6. Place the bread loaf into the oven and decrease the temperature to 375F.
7.Bake the loaf for 35 minutes or until it’s firm.
8.Remove from the oven and let cool for about 5 minutes. Then, turn out the bread out of the pan. Let it cool completely on a wire rack.
I like my bread to be not too soft and not too dry. What about you?
I hope you enjoy this gf bread recipe!
I wish you great health!
